On the surface, this is the story of an easy tool that allows non-technical customers to build an app to display their content. But more than that, it was a joyful scramble to create a great solution with very little time to spare.
Weirdly, the closed caption editor in the JWP dashboard wasn't that accessible. Let's create a nice clear flow that will have make our customers love adding captions.
At the time of winter Hack Week 2021, there were whispers that JW Player was in the conceptual stages of an e-learning platform. I really really really wanted to work on it so I flexed super hard in an effort to be the most obvious guy for the job.
